Jim Jones

Im sounding offf on homie.
Thats it bra Nas aint on ya level????

??????

"Fuck Nas. I don’t give a fuck about Nas. He’s a rapper that just lost his pizazz. When I was in high school, he was the sh*t. He was the n*gg* that got us hyped. “New York State of Mind,” Illmatic and all of that" said Jones.

"I was never cool with him. I seen Nas a few months ago in L.A. with Dame. We was staying in this hotel right above the Ferrari dealership. Dame seen him and was talking to him. I was laying back on a couch laughing. He didn’t know what to do. I was looking dead at him. [Laughs.] And then Dame was like, “You know Jim?” He started [stammering], “Ah? Ah?” Dame is just burnt out. He not thinking about none of that frivolous [beef] sh*t. Me neither, for the most part. Nas was never on my level ever. Ever."

Ok i think that statement just spoke for itself.

ya damn right Nas was never on ya level cus he was to far past your level.

In General:

Youngins in the game like to say that the Old school artists always got beef and tryna knock the new generation but ya be doing a whole buncha shit talking...too much BS coming out the mouth instead of some rhymes. Saying the same shit everytime they spit. If the mic could talk it probably say "damn nigga just shut the fuck up already....motherfuckers been on repeat for years" To me theres a difference between modern hiphop and that poor excuse people like to believe is hip hop. And no im not just talking about lyrics for all you conservative listeners out there. Lyricism is of course on top because wtf that is hip hop and if you dont respect lyrics then you aint hip hop you aint rap you like pop music. Popular music...when does it become pop music when the genre reaches a certain level of sucess and popularity. Not bad....but then it becomes exaggerated. Exaggerated to where corporate america a.k.a "upside down obelisk wearing mothafuckaaas!" ( i see you E) decide to recycle the same shit a trillion times ...play it out ...over and over again . Now its catchy hooks...verses that are so simplistic. Its not always bad but like anything it gets old and music has a soul...but no ones nourishing it anymore. I mean few are so i appreciate those who do.

I wont ramble anymore.
