BFree & EXTRABOLD

Bfree A.K.A Merijn Hos, is a Netherlands based artist/ illustrator. I love his work its so innovative and different. His work captures life in a weird way to me.
"Half of what i do is meaningless " is the title of his upcoming exhibition in Luxembourg if your in the area you should check it out.

Merijn Hos / Bfree - Half of what I do is meaningless exhibition 09.06.2008 - 10.18.2008 at Extrabold in Luxembourg

"Asked to bring his talent to this shores for a show at Extrabold the artist has chosen the title “Half of what I do is meaningless” because, as he says, “Some drawings and work are made consciencely while other work appears on paper without any reason”. In this show at Extrabold, Merijn Hos has tried to capture this feeling, amongst other subjects that are moving him lately, in the form of framed drawings and paint work in various sizes. He also produced a t-shirt specially designed for this show."

EXTRABOLD

" Streetwear, streetart and design books, used to be hard to find and Streetartists had no place to exhibit their work. This is a thing of the past! After a couple of years of preparation, Extrabold has finally opened its doors at 24 avenue de la Liberté, one of the most beautiful avenues in Luxembourg linking the city center and the central station. The concept of the shop is new to Luxembourg and discloses a melting pot Design-Streetart in a unique space. The streetwear offer ranges from brands like Boxfresh, Fenchurch, Wesc, Pharmacy, Sixpack, Stüssy, Franklin Marshall, The Quiet Life, American Apparel, etc. to artist series by Parra, East Eric, Kryot, Alvaro, Flying Fortress and more. Book topics include: graphic design, illustration, streetart, graffiti, typography, comics... A separate gallery space is dedicated to artists with a graffiti or streetart background, but who take it to another level and do more than just convey that lifestyle. "
