I got to meet Jay Electronica at Highline Ballroom the other night i shared my living in Louisiana story and told him i was happy to see him finally get notoriety. I rem almost 2 years ago being excited to see him open up for Mos Def at Nokia Theater in NYC and the crowd was just too ANNOYING! Barely let the homie do his thing. But that was then this is now! Much love to him hes such a humble cat felt nothing but good vibes and energy surrounding him.
