Im not posting this to get at Heron i was just kind of unaware that he had a crack addiction . Lady walked into my job yesterday and was surprised that I knew who he was. I ordered his new album for her and we started talking and then she mentioned this article in the New Yorker so i decided to read into it.
I had no idea who he was. Saw all the RIP posts on Facebook. Thanks to google...I learned that we frequented the same crack hotel on West 112th Street. Crack addiction is not joke. I struggle with it every day.
