EVOLVING

Thank you Erykah and all artists and just individuals in general. Its takes more than glitz and glamor to be heard. The reason so many of us now take initiative and search for something greater withing ourselves is because of people like Erykah. Theres not a day in my life where i dont value self expression. Life taught me about experiences and learning from them but music, music taught me everything else. I am an individual who has bettered herself through song , im not saying i listen to others and embody their essence but more like I listen and feel the message behind the words. We as people possess so much power its almost incomprehensible  yet I say that because i'm a modern day slave. Sold to Sallie Mae and the middle class deep in debt minimum wage lifestyle.

We sign on the dotted line ....we speak about forgotten rhymes......sigh after cry cry after sigh .
Live large ...be broke and wealthy. Listen with your inner ear and look with your hidden telescope. Theres more to life than just living...a man once said. Im not the smartest girl nor the prettiest nor the most talented but I strive for a greater purpose. Im not telling everyone to go out and become radical rebels im just encouraging people to find out who they are and to wake up. If you look at everything EVERYTHING around you music,movies,art,books,toys,logos,etc you begin to notice a common thread, a message. You dont need a fortune cookie to peep ur future. The path is set in stone the moment u acknowledge it. Be positive. Stay alert. But never be afraid. Fear is a man made disease. Keep evolving .
