Flashing lights

third one!

Regret....a wasted emotion

Since my right hand man decided to show you a little something in refrence to Robert Downey Jr , i figured why not.

Natural born Killers is one of my favorite movies. Directed by Oliver Stone and written by Quentin tarantino(although there is alot of controversy surrounding the original screenplay he wrote). Starring Woody Harrelsonand Juliette Lewis. Robert Downey Jr.played a news reporter Wayne Gale and i think he did an amazing job. The movie itself is something else but when great actors really make it come alive that just adds to it. Anyways one of the memorable scenes in the movie, My fav scene is the interview with Mickey Knox.

I cant find the other half of the interview so u def have to check out the movie to really get a feel for it.

*Trent Reznor did the soundtrack to this movie
*He also co produced Saul Williams last album =)

How awesome is Robert Downey Jr.

Toy Story in 3-D!!!

"Originally released by Walt Disney Pictures in 1995, "Toy Story" was the first feature film from Pixar Animation Studios and director John Lasseter. The film went on to receive Oscar? nominations for Best Original Score, Best Original Song, and Best Original Screenplay, and earned Lasseter a Special Achievement Award (Oscar?) "for the development and inspired application of techniques that have made possible the first feature-length computer-animated film." The 3-D version of this landmark film is being personally overseen by Lasseter with his acclaimed team of technical wizards handling all the necessary steps in the conversion process. " this movie is set for 2009 release

Beverly Hills Cop 4

"Paramount is moving forward with a fourth installment in the "Beverly Hills Cop" franchise, reports Variety. Eddie Murphy is attached to reprise his role as Detroit detective Axel Foley, and Brett Ratner is negotiating to direct.

The studio is aiming for a 2009 production start and a summer 2010 release.

Lorenzo di Bonaventura will produce. Jerry Bruckheimer, who produced the original "Beverly Hills Cop" trilogy with late partner Don Simpson, won't be actively involved in the new film.

A writer will be hired shortly.

The three original films grossed $712.9 million worldwide. The last was released in 1994."

chasing the cool

So it's like people hear a really great quote and they say to themselves wow this is true, this inspirational, this is me. So they put said quote on their myspace or facebook or blog and they think they're different. They try researching new things to try and feel like they're being different, they speak in yells and shouts arguing with nobody, screaming this is important, that this, whatever this is, is the truth. However they wear these newfound beliefs like they wear clothing. I know i'll wear existentialism today and maybe people will think i know a thing or two. Tomorrow i'll wear whatever contemporary issue is hot. Don't try to be someone you're not and don't try to save the world all by your goddamn self. You, me, your mother, my mother have to all realize that everything put before our eyes is just a distraction to keep us from what really matters.

Blu & Exile

"Hailing from the West Coast; emcee Blu was raised on the likes of Public Enemy and N.W.A. thanks to his father; later gravitating towards Common, Mos Def & Talib Kweli (Black Star) and Black Thought (The Roots). It’s clear that the above artists were in the 22-year-old emcee’s mental tape deck while he was perfecting his craft. Blu is an extremely talented lyricist; clever rhymes, technically sound, intensely personal and witty. Add this to the fact that the entire album is produced by Exile (one half of the slept on duo Emanon) and you are in for a rousing eargasm reminiscent of that classic 90’s sound that so many people bitch and moan about missing and saying that it’s nonexistent. It’s there (I promise) you just have to dig a bit deeper than you used to."

This review is almost a year old now (hiphopdx.com) but i feel people still arent aware of Blu & Exile and there album "Below the Heavens"

heres the track listing

1. My World Is
2. The Narrow Path
3. So(ul) Amazin'
4. Juicen' Dranks
5. In Remembrance Of Me
6. Blu Cola Workers
7. Dancing In the Rain
8. First Things First
9. No Greater Love
10. Show Me the Good Life
11. Simply Amazin'
12. Cold Hearted
13. The World Is
14. You Are Now In the Clouds With

*there are also 3 untitled tracks on there

I put in bold some of my favorite tracks. Dancing in the rain really does mellow me out after a long day of bitching and stressing. A bit of "BITCHASSNESS" in me i guess. And this song is my personal cure.

here are some videos

I got my backpack on =]

This is sum bullshit!
The fuck you worrying about people wearing backpacks for , shit a backpack wouldnt be able to help this sorry ass flow. Maybe help you pack the fuck up outta here with this poor excuse of a song, obviously tryna get attention "By any means necessary" and i don't think Malcom X was referring to this when he said those lines. Its obviously a joke gone way too extravagent with a video for no reason.

Nas

why?
I know.
but why?
WHy change the name now so close to the album dropping.

"Record stores are gonna have a problem in this day and time selling a record with that title," he said. "Who knows what that title will be? It was important to me to let the fans know what the album would be musically. ... Everybody is trying to stop the title. It's just people being scared of what's real. Somebody is trying to open up dialogue for people to talk. People that's high up [who aren't] really understanding what I'm doing, are scared. They're scared for reasons I understand, but the fans gotta know either way: This is the same album. The content is the same, the direction is the same, the message is gonna be everything I intended it to be musically.

"[The title] kind of comes off as something that can be disrespectful," he added. "Our older black people can take it the wrong way. Some non-blacks can take it the wrong way, and it becomes a thing that becomes controversial in all the wrong ways. I accept that. I'm here to do music. I'm here to rap about what I feel and what makes sense to me."

Well im not a music buisness expert but i feel that sometimes that risk should be taken . How many people that we feel are great at what they do alot of the times have controversies surrounding them. When you take a big step like that of course theres going to be some cracks on the ground and there will be people who will kick you to the curb but in the end there will also be those who will pick you up from that same curb and take those steps with you. Nas im still copping the album. I just wanted the album to come out with the title you intended on using.

Glow In The Dark Tour

Glow in the Dark tour was def something different. Especially if your use to your regular DJ and a mic hip hop show. We all knew going into this concert that it was not going to be that way. People had and still have perceived notions of how they thought or think the show is going to be. I'm going to tell you right now just throw that out of your brain and get ready to just exist. That's simply what i did at the show in MSG Tuesday May 13, 2008 . I simply existed , I was there that night i was hyped and nonetheless i was entertained. Kanye is an innovator , confident yes , self conscious yes. In other words he's HUMAN. The biggest mistakes humans make is that they always tend to conform one way or another. Without realizing it we conform to almost everything in our lives. I wont get into much detail , but next time you are making a decision whether its the simplest decision or not, think about every other possible way that exists to do what you are doing. Then think about the ones you cant even come up with. The mind is a tender and fragile thing. Putting that into the subject i feel Mr.West conquered the night. His performance was very well conceived , very well put. The music , the sound . You can see how much thought was put into creating this world of enchantment. The music blew me away the most.Remastering the songs and switching it up was brilliant my ears were in heaven and my eyes were right there along with it. I definitely needed some time to soak it all in. I didn't say much after the show to certain friends i just thought about it alot. I really just let my mind wander and really process things. Maybe I'm crazy , maybe I'm a maniac, or maybe i just simply appreciate this man as an artist so much that i felt it was only necessary to have myself revisit the show in my head before talking about it. Yea the band was not directly on the stage but more hidden, yes Lupe's set was short even i got upset at one point , But then i thought about it . This tour was not about Lupe, n.e.r.d, or Rhianna, nor the band. This was Kanye West headlining his own tour. Lupe was incredible, Nerd Rocked the house , And Rhianna who i expected not to really be impressed by I admit i was. And Ye really came through with his performance. He put his heart and soul into it. The three acts delivered and the Main Act just raised the bar for tour performances to come. I am anxious to see what he comes up with next tour.

Fuck

you

Only you know who is you
and only i know to despise you
hate is a strong sense of feeling
so is love
so who are you?
i know
do you know?
Its not written in words
or forgotten in time
it simply exists
you simply exist
but the question still remains
who are you?
